Description
Draft Statement of Work - updated The Draft RFP for this effort was originally posted under solicitation number W91CRB-17-R-0007. All documents attached to this notice are in draft form and shall not be considered the final version. Any documents posted as "access controlled" will require authorization prior to gaining access. Questions/comments regarding the posted documents will not be accepted. The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Gground intends to issue a solicitation for Lightweight Laser Designator Rangefinder (LLDR) 3. The intended procurement will be for the production of the LLDR 3, associated spare and repair parts, maintenance, and system technical support. The LLDR 3 is a man-portable, crew-served, ground-based targeting device that provides the ability of precision, long range, rapid target acquisition and target location, laser designation and laser spot imaging with an all-weather, 24/7 precision targeting capability. The proposed design is required to have three separate modules including a Targeting Locator Module (TLM), long-range Thermal Imaging Module (TIM), and Laser Designator Module (LDM). The planned period of performance for this effort is one hundred twenty (120) months. The scope of the effort includes initial design and integration of fifteen (15) units, fully tested and qualified for production no later than twenty-four (24) months after contract award. The final ninety-six (96) months includes low rate initial production and full rate production efforts for the LLDR 3. General: 1.) The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 335999 - All other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment with a size standard of 500 employees. 2.) All items under this procurement are subject to the Buy American Act. 3.) Estimated Solicitation Date: On or before 04 December 2017 with all documents, attachments, and amendments posted at the FedBizOpps website located at the following address: https://www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the RFP will be issued. 4.) Vendors are responsible for obtaining the documentation/amendments to the documentation from the website listed above.
