The current barge in use by USAG-KA is will be out of service for required maintenance and repairs. The anticipated timeline for repairs is 120 days, however the Government will build in two, one month option periods in to the contract in the event of delays or other unanticipated weather interruptions. The leased barge will need to be delivered and picked up by the contractor in time to meet the maintenance timeline.
