Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 16, intends to award a firm- fixed price, short-term CPRR (cost per patient reportable result) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Beckman Coulter, Inc, 250 S. Kraemer Blvd., Brea, CA 92821 in accordance with FAR 8.405-6 for continued usage of contractor-owned equipment on-site at VISN 16 Medical Centers and Outpatient Clinics. Contractor s instrumentation is utilized by VA Lab personnel to perform chemistry-immunochemistry testing. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. This announcement is for reagents, consumables, supplies, etc. needed for the CPRR for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source.   The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334516 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. This is for informational purposes only and not to be construed as a commitment by the government. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is voluntary. No solicitation document is available.
