- This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request fo Currently these two NSNs are sole sourced to ORBIS CORPORATION. Other interested vendors are invited to offer alternate technical packages, or are invited to offer the item from the sole source. DLA Troop Support is researching the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced items under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The contract base period may be for a term of one year or two years. Furthermore, the solicitation may contain an option or options to extend the term of the contract. Pricing for the base year(s) will be provided up front for the contract. Option periods may be provided upfront or may be linked to a Producer Price Index, which would be adjusted annually or to an EPA clause. These items may be subject to First Article Testing (FAT) and/or Product Lot Testing. Support of these items will be based on DLA Direct Deliveries, where the material would be shipped to either the New Cumberland, PA, Tracy, CA, and/or Red River, TX. No quantity or dollar value information is available at this time, as DLA Troop Support is still evaluating the acquisition scenario. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. If a solicitation or solicitations would result, it/they would be synopsized on the FedBizOpps website and it would be the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any such notices.
