- NATIONAL NUCLEAR SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (NNSA) ALBUQUERQUE COMPLEX, ALBUQUERQUE, BERNALILLO COUNTY, NEW MEXICO. The proposed procurement is an Unrestricted Best Value Tradeoff Request For Proposal (RFP). NAICS is 236220/SIC 1629, with a size standard of $36,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $100,000,000.00 and $250,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Offerors attention is directed to Section 00 21 00 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 17 November 2017, with proposals due on or about 2 January 2018. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. THE PROJECT consists of the construction a 330,000 square feet, 3 story tall office building. This facility will provide administrative office space to accommodate approximately 1,200 employees. Project will provide numerous and varied functionalities, including offices, data centers, fitness center, secure areas, and vault-type rooms, sound transmission prevention, and blast prevention design. Work will be completed in accordance with Federal Unified Facilities Criteria, ABA requirements, NFPA 101 requirements and other requirements within the Whole Building Design Guide including preparing documents in compliance with Federal Standards and following U.S. Army Corps of Engineers processes and requirements. Facility will be LEED Gold accreditation upon completion of construction. THE PROJECT will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government. The proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
