- Notice Type: Sources Sought Notice (N55236-18-R-0005) This is a sources sought notice for information and acquisition planning purposes. This is not a request for proposal (RFP) and a formal solicitation is not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue an RFP, contract, or order. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement, nor will the Government return any data provided. The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is seeking certified SBA 8(a) small businesses capable of providing Facilities Maintenance Services (industrial cleaning) aboard US Navy ships at Naval Base San Diego. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, and material required to accomplish the work described above. SWRMC is contemplating award of an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), firm-fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 561720 (Janitorial Services). Interested vendors should submit a capabilities statement (not to exceed five pages) that demonstrates their capability to perform the services described herein. The capabilities statement shall include: Company name with CAGE code and DUNS number; Address; Business size (large, small, small disadvantaged, women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned) [more than one category may be selected as applicable]; Point of contact (POC) information for the interested firm; Company's technical capabilities. Responses from interested vendors should contain the following: - What type of work your company has performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirements; - If your company has managed a task of this nature before; - If your company has managed a team of subcontractors, and if so, how many; - The specific technical skills your company possesses which ensure capability to perform the requirements; - Explanation of your company's ability to perform greater than 50% of the efforts required, if your company is a small business. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Questions and comments are encouraged, though the Government does not commit to providing responses. No basis for a claim against the Government shall arise as a result of this announcement. Responses should be received no later than 27 October 2017.
