- RFI Attachment 63rd RSC DOL Equipment Time Standards CA RFI Attachment Density and Workload CA Region REV 20171012 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY - This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The MICC - Fort McCoy is exploring options for a Contractor Owned/Contractor Operated (CO/CO) Maintenance facility near Barstow, CA to support work for the Army Reserves at: Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) 171 20th Street, Building 593, MCLB Yermo Annex Barstow, CA 92311 This facility needs to be located within 20 miles of ECS 171 (the distance will be measured according to google maps) be large enough to perform maintenance on M1074 tractor and M1000 trailers. The facility should be capable of performing 80-90% of the workload listed on the RFI Attachment Density and Workload. Various types of equipment to be maintained can be found in Attachment 63rd RSC DOL Equipment. The Contractor shall comply with all local, state and Federal environmental requirements to include local facility policies and procedures. The Contractor shall also coordinate with the appropriate local, state and Federal regulating agencies to obtain any required permits to establish the CO/CO facility. Contractor is responsible for all expendable and non-expendable items at CO/CO facility. This facility will have Government oversight for the purpose of quality assurance. MICC-Fort McCoy is seeking the following information: 1. Respondents shall provide the number of days required to establish a fully functional CO/CO maintenance facility meeting the requirements listed above. 2. Respondents shall describe the reasons for the timeframe provided. 3. Respondents shall address any barriers in the marketplace to meeting the requirement. 4. Respondents shall describe the reason for any barriers in the marketplace to meeting the requirement (i.e mileage not sufficient, license restrictions etc). Respondents shall not be obligated to provide the services described herein. The response date for this Information is 25 Oct 2017.
