- Functional Requirements MARKET SURVEY - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION SYNOPSIS: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Facilities, Information and Asset Management, is seeking information for market research purposes relative to its "Personal Property Management Systems of Record" (PPMSR) requirement. DOT is seeking information from industry with the technical capabilities and experience to provide the services as described in the attached PPMSR Functional Requirement document. Your Capabilities Statements must address the property management systems functions in the attached document. The property management system functions are designated as mandatory and value-added. Note: Please do not send "marketing material". This announcement is a public invitation. Failure to participate or provide written feedback to this RFI will not preclude abstaining vendors from providing proposals on possible future solicitations. This announcement is part of a full-, free-, and open-competition process, which encourages industry to help shape Government requirements to match what is possible, affordable, and timely. However, this announcement does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies, vendors in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. Any information provided that is marked as proprietary information will be safeguarded to prevent disclosures to non-government personnel and entities. Your interest in this requirement is appreciated. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to submit a CAPABILITIY STATEMENT" tailored to the address the attached PPMSR Functional Requirements. - Capability Statements should not exceed 10 written pages (Times New Roman, 12 font) with an executive summary (one page or less), an introduction, contact information, business size, NAIC code, and recent past performance information/references. Note: The past performance information must be within the past three to five years. Responses from Small and Small Disadvantaged Business firms are highly encouraged. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business, a socially and economically disadvantaged business, 8(a) firms, historically black colleges or universities, and minority institutions. In addition, indicate if your organization has any GWAC, or GSA Schedule contract vehicle that is appropriate for this requirement. Please include your GSA or GWAC contract numbers.
