Description

The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) Fayetteville, Arkansas (VHA Station 564) currently performs snow and ice clearing and broadcasting of salt/sand/grit mix with VHSO Engineering staff and equipment. Maintaining clear roadways, parking areas, sidewalks, and building entrances is essential to the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. As such, the performance and effectiveness of the snow and ice removal is reflected in quality performance metrics and tracked/enforced by compliance organizations (Joint Commission, VHSO Safety, VISN 16). Maintaining safe access to the hospital and support facilities of VHSO is a mission critical function. This solicitation is for the provision of services through a service agreement for snow and ice removal and surface treatment related services. The awarded contractor will furnish all expertise, management, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and transportation necessary to perform the services required herein. Proposals must be emailed to joseph.warren@va.gov.
