- NSN 0Q-1680-016216773-EY, TDP VER 002, QTY 7 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. Solicitation Number: N00383-14-T-0276 NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit General Atomics (4XB60), San Diego, CA and Billet Industries (3DDL3), York, PA for the purchase of an axle double sheave. The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed priced contract. This contract will include the purchase of the following part: NSN: 0QM 1680 016216773 EY ITEM NAME: AXLE DOUBLE SHEAVE QTY: 7 P/N: 3890AS000631-01 The government intends to contract on a limited source basis with GA and Billet. GA and Billet are the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only known sources for providing support of the above part. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the FederalAcquisition Regulations (FAR). Based on market research, the government's need cannot be met by a type of item commercially available in the market place. FAR part 12 will not be used. The applicable NAICS code is 334412. Thisrequirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only oneresponsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agencyrequirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotationsor capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA))after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by theGovernment. A determination by the Government not to compete with thisproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within thediscretion of the Government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Christine Pennington, Contracting Officer, Code (N762.06), 700 RobbinsAve, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. GA and Billet will be solicited on or after 03 NOV 2017 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
