- MARKET SURVEY - Sources Sought: The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD) is seeking information from interested parties for MK 165 Canister Seals. This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This IS NOT a REQUEST for PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, or BIDS. Responses to this request will not be returned. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation or contract award. It is the intent of the Contracting Office to use this information for market research purposes only. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUBZone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, small business, or large business) with experience in manufacturing within NAICS code #339991, and establish that there are adequate contractors for the following for MK 165 Canister Seals. The U.S. Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Additionally, any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed and are NOT considered allowable direct charges to other contracts or tasking. Responses to the Sources Sought are required to be received no later than 12 :00 PM Pacific Daylight Time on November 7, 2017.
