- Army Contract Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) proposes to release a solicitation for Fire Truck Paint Services at Red River Army Depot (RRAD), using a firm fixed price requirements type contract. This action will be competed full and open. Some of the tasks to be performed under this contract include: The removal of materials in order to prepare the fire truck for painting and rustproofing and the re-installation of the removed materials once the fire truck has been painted and rustproofed. The contractor shall also install new door seals, firewall, and hood insulation after the fire truck has been painted and rustproofed. Painting the exterior of the fire trucks a Candy Apple Red, painting the interior surface of the storage boxes grey, and wheels shall be powder coated painted. Exterior surfaces shall be prepared, primed, and painted with acrylic urethane paint in accordance with all of the paint manufacturer's instructions and recommendations. The contactor shall also buff out all chrome materials.
