Description
Turn-Key Mobile Telemetry System The 45th Range Management Squadron has a requirement for a turn-key mobile telemetry system which will augment existing Eastern Range (ER) turn-key, mobile telemetry (TLM) systems that provides limited off-the-pad coverage for current and future ER launches. The system must receive, record, and process rocket telemetry formats in use on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and provide the capability to be field-configurable to support emergent telemetry formats. The TLM system shall consist of all hardware and software components that are fully configured to support existing and known future telemetry formats listed below while providing seamless integration into ER communications infrastructure for transport of telemetry streams. The mobile system shall consist of an antenna system capable of remote deployment/operation and a self-contained, mobile, tri-band telemetry system. This acquisition will procure a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), self-contained TLM system to meet or exceed the technical requirements. The delivery will include operator training, maintenance and engineering documentations, initial spare, and a recommended spare parts list. The recommended delivery date is within four months of contract award. The requirement is well defined and a commercial product with minimal risk to the government. Additionally, this is a firm fixed price contract which provides a price that is not subject to any adjustment on the basis of the contractor's cost experience in performing the contract.
