RFP Heat Treat Vacuum Furnace Salient Characteristics Specifications COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION #: N0017818R3001 Submitted by: Suzanne Weber NAICS Code: 333994 FSC Code: 4430 Anticipated Date to be published in FEDBIZOPS: October 26, 2017 Anticipated Closing Date: November 17, 2017 Contracts POC Name: Suzanne Weber Telephone#: 540-653-0178 Email Address: Suzanne.m.weber@navy.mil Code and Description: 44 - Furnace, Steam Plant, and Drying Equip, Nuclear Reactors This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017818R3001 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. This requirement is eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure a Heat Treat Vacuum Furnace based on minimum specifications. See Attachment A for the minimum specifications. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Quote is due 13 November 2017, no later than 12:00PM EST with an anticipated award date by 27 November 2017.
