Description
FAR Clauses Wage Determinations Statement of Work including Pictures RFQ PART 1 - GENERAL 1.1 PROJECT INTENT: Remove and replace approximately 50' of fencing and associated hardware at USCG AVSUPFAC Cordova located at Mile 13 Copper River HWY. Cordova, AK 99574. 1.2 BACKGROUND: Recently, a 50' section of chain link fence and the associated hardware was damaged when a tree fell on it during a windstorm. All the fencing, posts, and hardware in the 50' section will need to be replaced, with the exception of the razor wire and blue privacy slats. They can and should be reused. The contractor shall coordinate work schedule with USCG CEU Juneau prior to any demolition and construction work. The Contractor shall complete all work within 21 calendar days from the notice to proceed. All work shall be performed during normal CG work days between the hours of 0800 to 1600, no weekends or Federal Holidays. Coordinate with CEU Juneau for any proposed alternate work times for approval if needed. 1.3 SCOPE: The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, transportation, and other related items for work specified below and required for a complete and functional installation. The contractor shall also protect all government property, etc. from damage during demolition or new work. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ACTUAL DIMENSIONS AND SITE CONDITIONS. A. Remove, dispose, and replace approximately 50' of 8' tall chain link fencing. B. Provide and install 2 new vertical posts and associated hardware and concrete. C. Provide and install 2 new horizontal top rails and associated hardware. D. Provide and install 3, 50' sections of barbed wire and 3 hanging brackets and associated hardware. E. Remove and reinstall the existing razor wire and blue privacy slats on the new fence. 1.4 SITE VISIT: To schedule a site visit, contact the D17 Facility Asset Manager, CWO Travis Lovvorn at 907-463-2413. **Please see attached pictures, RFQ, Statement of Work, and FAR clauses.**
