- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N0060418Q4004. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-95 and DFARS Change Notice 20161222. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 611699 and the Small Business Standard is $11M. The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source to SAFE BOATS INTERNATIONAL, LLC under the authority of FAR Part 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by the closing date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: CLIN 0001: MK VI PATROL BOAT OPERATOR/MAINTAINER COURSE TRAINING (See attached PWS) Quantity = 1, Unit of Issue = GRP CLIN 0002: TRAVEL AND OTHER DIRECT COSTS (ODCs): Travel expenses shall be in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) at http://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/site/travelreg.cfm. Quantity = 1, Unit of Issue = GRP Period of Performance: 06 November 2017 to 01 Dec 2017. If the required date cannot be met, an alternate schedule may be considered. Place of Performance: This training shall take place at Building 104 Naval Base Guam. Any underway portion of the training shall take place in Apra Harbor and adjacent waters.
