Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 585-12-113: Renovate 5 West Construction at Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs). Provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certificates, insurance, temporary protection, and other items designated under the provisions of this contract Renovate 5 West Construction, VA Project #585-12-113, prepared by Northern Design Works, LLC. Work includes: Demolition of the existing space and new interior construction, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical services as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. Time for completion is 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about November 16th, 2017 with the bid opening on/about December 19th, 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $36 Million applies. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.
