- Request for Proposals for Land Surveying, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract. Multiple Awards is Anticipated. The intent of the contract is to obtain professional surveying services "AS NEEDED" for one calendar year (base period) of the date of award in accordance with the complete solicitation package. The Government may exercise up to 4 option years in addition to the base period. All work shall be performed by or under the direct supervision of a person licensed to practice surveying in the State of Georgia, and must meet the standards for surveying set forth by the Official Code of Georgia (O.C.G.A.) and Georgia Administrative Codes. The Standards of Practice for Surveying in the State of Georgia shall govern, provided they are not less than the requirements set forth in these specifications and exhibits. The work may include, but is not limited to: Measuring and marking Forest Service managed property and other designated boundary lines. Maintenance of, or blacking out, previously marked Forest Service managed property lines as well as other designated boundary lines. Identification and verification, restoration, location, and monumentation of land and/or property corners. Establishing Geodetic Coordinates, Rights-of-Way and Easement Surveys, Rural Boundary Surveys for area and description. Preparation of Surveyor's Reports and plats. Preparation of Form 7100-52, Corner Record, for Forest Service property corners, and preparation of tract descriptions. Engineering/construction related services such as topographic surveys, centerline surveys, construction stakeout, as-built surveys, level loops, LIDAR, hydrographic surveys, and erosion control plans (or the ability to provide a sub-contractor to complete these tasks), and other miscellaneous work incidental to the survey profession. Perform land surveys, boundary maintenance, and other professional surveying services on or near the Chattahoochee and Oconee National Forests, which includes the Blue Ridge Ranger District, the Chattooga River Ranger District, the Conasauga Ranger District, and the Oconee Ranger District. These services fall under the The Brooks Act: Federal Government Selection of Architects and Engineers. Public Law 92-582. 92nd Congress, H.R. 12807. October 27, 1972. FAR Part 36.
