- Description
- Provide rental hospitality (welcome and departure) kits to the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. Services are required to support U.S. direct hires and their families as they transition in and out of Mexico. Temporary rental of hospitality kits are required: (a) when a departing employee has packed out his/her Household Effects and is awaiting departure from Post and; (b) when an arriving employee and his/her family is awaiting arrival of their Household Effects. The rental period for hospitality kits is usually between three days and two weeks for departing employees and between four to thirteen weeks for arriving employees; however, these timeframes can be shorter or longer. The contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel, materials and transportation that are necessary to accomplish all work as required by this contract. Intended type of Contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, multiple-award type contract with firm-fixed prices. The anticipated performance for a base year with four (4) one-year options to extend the services. The intended base period of performance is from 2018 to 2019. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on the FedBizOpps during the month of December of 2017. Please see the RFQ for the actual response date. NOTE: No electronic submissions shall be accepted. Meaning, electronic offers or proposals will not be accepted. NOTE: System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all actions in excess of $30,000 for local firms and $3,500 for U. S. firms prior to award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
