Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command- APG Belvoir Division intends to award on a sole sources basis two (2) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1,Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed sources for this action are Raytheon Company, 2501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX and DRS Technologies, Inc. 100 North Babcock, Melbourne FL. The contracts will have a five (5) year period of performance for the acquisition of Horizontal Technology Integration (HTI) Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (2GF) B-Kit components and support services. This notice of intent is published in accordance with FAR 5.201 and is NOT a request for proposals. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement. The Government will consider all capability information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received within 15 days will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be no longer than ten (10) pages and shall be in a Microsoft Word compatible format. Responses shall be submitted via email to monique.n.sanpietro.civ@mail.mil within 15 calendar days of the date of this notice. All requests for information must be made in writing or e-mail to Monique SanPietro, Contract Specialist, at monique.n.sanpietro.civ@mail.mil or Sabin Joseph, Contracting Officer, at sabin.a.joseph.civ@mail.mil. No telephonic inquiries or requests will be honored.
