Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 2, intends to award a sole source award contract to Precision Laser Specialist Inc., 4 Canterbury Lane Unit 1, Hawthorne Woods IL. Service and Maintenance of various Coherent Laser Precision Equipment located at the NY Harbor VAMC Manhattan Campus 423 East 23rd Street, New York. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 811219.   Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are receive, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by November 9, 2017 at 12:00 PM E.S.T. Responses shall be submitted via email to joel.paula@va.gov.
