Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 100 Emancipation DR, Hampton, VA 23667 is seeking a qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business (SDVOSB) A/E firm to provide Schematics, Design Development, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Period Services, Site Visits, Cost Estimates, As-Built Documentation, and all other related information for project no. 652-16-104, Renovate Spinal Cord Injury Unit for Privacy at VAMC Richmond, Virginia. This procurement is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. This requirement is being procured in accordance with the Brooks Act as implemented in FAR Subpart 36.6. Applicable NAICS code is 541310 (Architectural Services) and small business size standard of $7.5 Million. This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside. Potential contractors must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov) and visible/certified in Vet Biz (www.vetbiz.gov) at time of submission of their qualifications to be considered for an award. The objective of this project is to Provide professional engineering services for the design and construction administration to renovate the existing SCI area, urology treatment space and associated support/administrative/therapy spaces located on the first floor of Building 500 at the Richmond VAMC. The renovation shall include the approximately 18,500 square feet within the SCI area. The 18,500 square foot number is an approximation and will be better defined as the estimate and design are further along. Design completion timeframe is estimated to be 330 days after receipt of the Notice to proceed.
