Description
This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville (CEHNC), Alabama regularly solicits and awards purchase/delivery orders, GSA FSS orders, and BPAs to provide Integrated Medical Support Systems (IMMSS), non-modular medical furniture and artwork for hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, dental clinics, veterinary clinics, administrative and logistical facilties to Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) facilities worldwide. The purpose of this announcement is to invite businesses to a Virtual Industry Day event that will allow the Government to gather information to assist the Army in determining an acquisition approach and potential sources for the above listed supplies. Information from this event and any RFIs may be used to help the Army determine the number, timing, structure (e.g., contract type), terms and conditions, and tasks of any potential contract(s) that may be issued. Additionally, the government will provide a proposal workshop to discuss frequent errors observed during evaluations and how to respond to the program's requirements. As part of the day's agenda, members of the acquisition community will provide: (1) programmatic overview of the type of work performed by this program; (2) upcoming requirements; and (3) a proposal workshop. The Virtual Industry Day will also provide networking opportunities, and we encourage small business participation in the Virtual Industry Day to increase the visibility of potential small business opportunities. Date and Time: December 6, 2017, 2-4 p.m. CST. Location: This Industry Day/Proposal Workshop will be held virtually via a web meeting and conference call. Information on how to connect to the web meeting and dial-in to the conference call will be sent out when firms register. Registration: Pre-registration is a requirement for this event.
