- The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Space Superiority Systems Directorate (SMC/SY) will be hosting an Industry Day starting Tuesday, 12 December 2017, to discuss the Combat Mission Systems Support (CMSS) draft request for proposal (RFP). The intended audience includes interested industry partners with necessary program level clearances for the sustainment of ground-based electronic warfare systems and infrastructure within the SMC/SY portfolio and development of the Counter Communication System (CCS) Block 10.3. While this is not a small business set aside, small businesses are encouraged to pursue teaming arrangements. Interested prime contractor participants may schedule one-on-one sessions that will be held after the conclusion of the general meeting. This Industry Day will cover the scope of the CMSS effort, the programs/systems in the CMSS portfolio, and contract information. This briefing will be held at the TS/SCI, special access required (SAR) level. Note that prevoius CMSS acquisition postings were made under solicitation number FA8819-17-R-0006. That solicitiation number has been updated. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541330 and the size standard is $38.5M (for Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons). Check-in starts at 0730 for cleared, registered personnel. The presentation will start at 0830 for those parties who have submitted and received confirmation of their registration form (Attachment 1). Companies or personnel who have not received registration and clearance confirmation prior to the start time will not be permitted to attend. No exceptions will be made. One-on-one sessions, up to the TS/SCI/SAR level, will not exceed 90 minutes each. Sessions will be scheduled with interested participants from 0800-1600 PST on 13 December 2017. There is no government funding allocated for attendees to support this Industry Day meeting. This event is designed as an informational meeting. Interested participants must complete and submit the Industry Day Registration Form (Attachment 1) to UDG_SMC_SYCMSSDISTROLIST@us.af.mil no later than 1700 PST, Friday, 17 Nov 2017. Registration is required to attend and is limited to four (4) attendees per company/organization to the general briefing. Security clearances must also be submitted NLT Monday, 27 Nov 2017. One-on-one sessions may be requested by interested Prime contractors only. No more than eight (8) personnel (including any subcontractor or teammates) can attend each one-on-one session. Requests for a specific date/time for the one-on-one sessions may be made, but are not guaranteed. Sessions will be limited to no more than 90 minutes each. Exceptions will not be made for late registration or clearance requests. The general audience briefing will be conducted at The Aerospace Corporation, Bldg. A-8, Michael Daugherty Meeting Center and the one-on-one sessions will be held in Bldg. A-5, SYL Conference Room, both located at 2310 E. El Segundo Blvd, El Segundo, CA 90245. Each person attending Industry Day must provide one (1) form of photo identification (I.D.) and sign-in to the facility upon arrival. Accepted forms of photo I.D. include a valid/current state-issued driver's license, government I.D., or U.S. passport. All attendees must be U.S. citizens and also have a current TS/SCI and specified program level clearance to attend. Companies owned by foreign entities must bring with them a current, approved National Interest Determination (NID) letter. The Registration Form (Attachment 1) must be completed and sent to the SMC/SY CMSS Distribution List (noted in the above paragraph). An e-mail confirmation will be sent by the program office verifying successful receipt of registration and security clearances by 1200 PST, Friday, 1 December 2017. The e-mail will also include maps and directions. Registration closes on Friday, 17 November 2017, at 1700 PST; the registration form must be received by that date/time. Security clearance information must be received by SMC/SYS by Monday, 27 November 2017, at 1700 PST. Registration and clearance will be confirmed by the Government, and maps and directions will be provided, by Friday, 1 December, by 1700 PST. One-on-one meeting confirmation will be provided by Tuesday, 5 December 2017, at 1200 PST.
