Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking both manufacturers and/or distributors of a cardiac rehab telemetry system. This equipment is needed to monitor cardiac rehab patients. The system shall transmit patient data from a module worn by the patient to a central station where the data is recorded and can be displayed on a monitor. The following are the salient characteristics that must met in order to meet the need of the VA: Must run Windows 10 operating system Must have an encrypted solid state drive Must be HIPAA compliant Must be FIPS 140-2 compliant Monitor must be at least 21 inches Must be able to view telemetry information and enter notes simultaneously on the same screen Must be capable of showing telemetry data on multiple workstations simultaneously Must have twelve (12) channels Transmitters must be digital Transmitters must operate in frequency range 608-614 MHz The system must be able to detect pacer spikes and display them Must include installation and training Must include at minimum a 24-month warranty on parts and labor Wireless Laptop Workstation: Must run Windows 10 operating system Must integrate with and run the same software as the telemetry system Must be encrypted and FIPS 140-2 complaint Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing the exact match or similar product. Please include your business size with your submittal. If providing a submittal and offering equipment as a distributor (non-manufacturer), those contractors shall also submit proof of authorization to distribute from the manufacturer of the offered equipment. This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. Responses are to be submitted by e-mail to Daniel.rasmussen@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 10:00am Central Standard Time on November 10th, 2017.
