Description

The U.S. Military Academy (USMA) at West Point intends to award a sole-source contract to Proquest, Inc. for access to their Social & Cultural History online database. The content of this database is brought together under a unified search interface and is made up of the following individual collections: • North American Women's Letters and Diaries • Manuscript Women's Letters and Diaries • British and Irish Women's Letters and Diaries • The American Civil War: Letters and Diaries • North American Immigrant Letters, Diaries, and Oral Histories • Black Thought and Culture The project also links to, indexes, and makes cross searchable more than 700,000 full-text pages of oral histories from open-access Web resources around the world. USMA is seeking companies that may offer an alternative database that will suit the needs of the various disciplines taught at the academy. All interested concerns that can provide all of the above required items must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND A SOLICITATION DOES NOT EXIST AT THIS TIME. This notice is ONLY for the purpose of market research.
