Description
If viewing this announcement from a source other than Federal Aviation Administration's Contracting Opportunities (FAACO) website, please visit https://faaco.faa.gov/ for the original announcement. Updates and/or amendments will only be issued on the FAACO website. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center is conducting a market survey to improve the Government ™s understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources for a potential air shuttle services requirement. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB 8(a)'s), small businesses, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB's). This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. The purpose of this market survey is to identify competent and qualified vendors to perform air shuttle service between the William J. Hughes Technical Center (ACY) and Reagan National Airport (DCA). Vendors would be responsible to provide a primary airplane and a back-up airplane, for use when the primary place is unavailable. These requirements are subject to change after sufficient market research is performed and analyzed. The current air shuttle contract provides a nineteen seat primary, and a nineteen seat back-up, and is contracted to perform through May of 2018. The NAICS code for this requirement is 48111 Scheduled Air Passenger Transportation. The size standard for this NAICS code is 1,500 employees, maximum. Interested parties: Email a capabilities statement and your business ™s DUNS number (to verify business size). Provide any other applicable documentation, such as SEDB 8(a) certification letter or your SDVOSB status with your submission, if applicable. Email to Lori.McLaughlin@faa.gov. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only, and no guarantee for a future contract may be inferred. Further, vendor participation in any informational sessions is not a promise of future business with the FAA. Any costs associated with responding to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the vendor, and will not be reimbursed by the FAA.
