Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 7 (NCO 7) intends to award a sole source contract award to Hill-Rom Company, 1069 State Route 46 East, Batesville, IN 47006. The Period of Performance for Contract Award will be one year. Contractor shall provide the following service: The Contractor shall provide training for the Hill-Rom VersaCare Bed (Model P3200) and TotalCare Bed System (Model 1900) to two VA employees. The requirement is to deliver instructor-led training which focuses on the skills necessary to service and maintain Hill-Rom equipment. The training will be conducted at the Hill-Rom Training Facility, 1 S. Main St., Batesville, IN 47006. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by November 15, 2017 12:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Michael.giffon@Va.Gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
