N64498-17-T-5288 SUBJECT: UPS12-400 MR Batteries SYNOPSIS DATE: 08 November 2017 CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: N64498 NAICS CODE: 335311 CLASSIFICATION CODE (PSC/FSC): 6110 INCUBMENT: New effort, no incumbent TECHNICAL CODE: Code 325 ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: December 2017 RESPONSE DATE: 23 November 2017 ANTICIPATED SET-ASIDE: Unrestricted CONTACT POINTS: Brandon Mormello; brandon.mormello@navy.mil DESCRIPTION: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the procurement of UPS12-400 MR batteries (the manufacturer date of the batteries must be after 15 November 2017). The anticipated solicitation will include firm-fixed-price contract line items for the procurement of three hundred (300) UPS12-400 MR replacement VRLA batteries for the Energy Storage Module (ESM). An additional firm-fixed-price contract line item will be included in the solicitation for an option to install the batteries on-site at NSWCPD. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. If a competitive solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via FEDBIZOPPS, and interested parties must comply with that announcement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to a modification and in no way binds the government to award a contract.
