- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation W911RQ-18-Q-00JL is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56. Formal communications such as request for clarifications and/or information concerning this solicitation must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the address below. Offerors are requested to submit questions to the email address noted below not later than, 10:00 AM EST, 18 Nov 2017. Terms of the solicitation and specification remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing by the Contracting Officer. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of solicitation shall apply. Award can only be made to contractors registered in SAM. Point of Contact for this solicitation is Sandra Jean-Louis at (903) 334-4283  PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT The following describes the scope of work for a service contract to repair 2012 Terex Crane, Model# RT230-1, Serial# 16232, Bar Code# 23306 by removing and replacing the Greer display and recalibrating the system. The contractor shall include in his quote: the cost of labor, travel expenses, equipment, repair parts, and shipping required to repair the crane. After the crane has been repaired, the contractor shall perform a thorough operational test to ensure the crane is repaired and functioning satisfactorily. Contractor shall provide a labor warranty on the repair for a minimum of 6 months after final acceptance by the government. This means that should the crane fail to perform during the warranty period due to the failure of components replaced or work performed during the repair, the contractor shall immediately send a service technician and provide all required repair parts to return the crane to operation at no additional cost to the government. CONTRACTOR MANPOWER REPORTING (CMR) The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Manpower & Reserve Affairs) operates and maintains a secure Army data collection site where the contractor will report ALL contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract via secure data collection site.
