- It is anticipated that the U.S. Government will award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) purchase order for laundry services in support of U.S. Naval Hospital, Naples, Italy. The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, equipment, supplies, management and supervision. General Requirements: The contractor shall perform dry cleaning, minor repairing, laundering, ironing, wet washing, and dyeing services in accordance with the Statement of Work and best commercial practices. The Contractor shall wash, iron and fold all sheets, pillow cases, pajamas, bathrobes, nurses dresses, precaution gowns, and other linens. All other linen shall be washed, fluffed-dried and folded. The Contractor shall insure that all linen is completely dry and free of foreign bodies, e.g. insects, feathers, laundering agents. No soapy or other objectionable odors shall be left in the clean linen article after laundering. The Contractor shall return all clean linen in plastic bags. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) number N68171-18-Q-0013, will be available in electronic format and will be posted to the European Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (EURONECO) site located at https://www.euro.neco.navy.mil. Place and time of delivery will be specified in the RFQ. It is the responsibility of the Quoters to monitor the internet site for the release of RFQ and amendments (if any). The RFQ release date will be on or about 05 December 2017 and will close approximately 30 days thereafter.
