Description
IGF::OT::IGF Western Oregon Fire Protection Services sources sought notice is amended where to send inquiries pertaining to the requirement: In accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research, the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Oregon State Office is seeking responsible vendors for fire protection services for BLM lands in western Oregon within the BLM Northwest Oregon District, Roseburg District, Coos Bay District, and Medford District area of responsibility; and all the BLM lands for the Lakeview District west of highway 97. The intent of the contemplated contract will be to provide fire prevention, detection, suppression to include mop-up, fire suppression repair, fire cause investigation and reporting services on Bureau of Land Management, Government Lands. The contractor shall furnish all management, labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, and facilities to perform aerial and in land prevention, detection and fire suppression on western Oregon BLM district lands. The contractor shall perform consistent with BLM resource management objectives and fire management plan in the selection of suppression actions alternatives. The contractor shall provide specific action and preparedness plans, prevention, detection, initial attack and suppression services; resource protection; fire notification services; fire investigation reports; debriefings and contract reviews; and reports as required by the contract. All responsible sources must submit a capability statement that shall be considered by the agency. The capability statement must include: 1. Specify the BLM Oregon district areas the firm is capable to perform work and whether work can be performed simultaneously in different remote, non-adjacent areas. The firm shall also identify if they work with any Federal, state, local or tribal cooperators in the specific area. If you specified the area your firm can perform work simultaneously, furnish the following additional information that demonstrate your firm's capacity to do so: a. Type and quantity of personnel; b. Type and quantity of equipment; and c. Any other type/quantity of resources materially needed to perform simultaneous work successfully. 2. The firm will furnish all relevant, specialized experience and qualifications related to fire prevention, detection, suppression to include mop-up, fire suppression repair, and fire cause investigation within the last 3 years.
