- The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) is issuing a request for proposal for accomplishing the USCGC HEALY Dockside Repairs in Fiscal Year 2018. This procurement is 100% set-aside for certified HUBZone small-business contractors. The dockside is to be performed at 1519 Alaskan Way S., Seattle, WA 98134. The solicitation utilizes FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items utilizing procedures in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, as necessary. This requirement will result in the award of a single firm fixed price ship repair contract. To receive an award, the Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov. The anticipated start date will be 16January2018 with an anticipated end date of 03May2018. Note that there is an additional four days of sea trails whose dates will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
