- 11/13/2017: Amendment A0001 issued to provide answers to questions received during the question period of Solicitation 6973GH-18-R-01238. No further questions will be responded to prior to the close of the solicitation. ______________________________________________________________________________ THIS ANNOUNCEMENT BEST VIEWED/DOWNLOADED FROM FAA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES WEB SITE, HTTPS://FAACO.FAA.GOV. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for Reliability and Probability Training. The FAA contemplates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a 1-year base period with two 1-year option periods. Your attention is directed to Section L of Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request for Offer (RFO) 6973GH-18-R-01238 for instructions for preparation and submission of proposals. THIS PROCUREMENT IS FULLY SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. The business size standard for this NAICS is $15.0 million. Contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov on the date established for receipt of offers (November 20, 2017). Reference AMS Clause 3.3.1-33, paragraph (d), if the offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer may proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. Proposals must be received electronically by the FAA Contract Specialist, alan.spaulding@faa.gov, no later than 16:30 CT, November 20, 2017. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due time and date of 16:30 CT, November 20, 2017, will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of proposals. Any questions or concerns pertaining to this SIR or the requirement within should be sent in writing to the contract specialist at alan.spaulding@faa.gov. All questions must be received by 8:00 CT on November 06, 2017 to ensure adequate response time. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts.
