- Hill-Rom Progressa Chair-Bed Brand Name J&A Combined Synopsis/solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Brand Name-Hill Rom Progressa Chair-Bed Systems and accessories prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written (formal) solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number, FA7000-18-T-0008, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13.5. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-95, 19 January 2017. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339113, Beds, Hospital, Manufacturing and the size standard is 750 employees. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote, which if received timely, will be considered by the 10th Contracting Squadron, USAF Academy (USAFA). This is a Brand Name only requirement. Hill-Rom is the manufacturer of the Progressa Pro 585, the only product identified that has a chair assist to floor feature, providing a low risk/less traumatic means of assisting the patient to a standing position. The System also provides a means to aid in transport of bariatric patients with the intellidrive system with less risk to the staff in transporting patients. This bed system also provides a head of bed angle alarm which is particularly advantageous in critical care where minimum head of bed requirements exist for intubated and cardiopulmonary compromised patients.
