Description

The House of Representatives Child Care Center (HCCC) is seeking a contractor to provide catered meals and snacks for 70 children, five days a week. All food must meet the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines for children as well as addressing the deliverables stated in Section C.3 titled “Statement of Work” The United States House of Representatives (House), Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), is issuing this solicitation to the open market pursuant to Section III (E) of the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Services for the U.S. House of Representatives (Procurement Guidelines), Competitive Proposals (Negotiated Contracts). The Procurement Guidelines are available on the House website, www.house.gov, Doing Business with the House, under Additional Resources. Procurements by the House are not governed by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or other procurement statutes, regulations and policies applicable to the federal executive branch, except where specifically stated in this solicitation or applicable law. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via e-mail by the following due date and time: 2 PM EST on November 20th, 2017. Proposals must be received by the time and date specified in Block 6 of the Solicitation and Offer form, page one of the solicitation. Note that late proposals may be rejected unless the cause for non-receipt of proposals was due solely to the actions of the House. The Offeror is solely responsible for the timely delivery of proposals submitted via e-mail. The House is not responsible for misaddressed, misrouted, or rejected e-mail messages.
