Description

This action was previously W31P4Q-17-R-0142. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to procure Gas Generator Cartridges and Umbilical Booster Charges Devices to support the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) and potential Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The estimated Period of Performance will be 31 Mar 2018 through 31 December 2022. The Government anticipates this effort to be awarded on a sole source basis to Network Electronic Company (NeCO), 9750 DeSoto Avenue, Chatsworth, CA, 91311, CAGE Code 05127. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii)(B); however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NeCO is currently manufacturing Gas Generator Cartridges and Umbilical Booster Charge Devices for the United States Government. NeCO is the only certified source for the Gas Generator Cartridges and Umbilical Booster Charge Devices. They are the only known source that can provide a certified product in time to support the delivery date. There is no Technical Data Package (TDP) for this effort; these parts are bought per Missile Specification.
