- It is the intention of the Department of Defense Concessions Committee (DoDCC), a Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI), to award a non-exclusive license agreement for a firm to operate and manage two (2) full service laundry, dry cleaning and garment alteration services retail concession stores (drop off/pick up service, alterations, etc.) and provide all necessary décor, fixtures and equipment, etc., to manage and operate both retail stores on the Concourse in the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia and in the Mark Center office building, Alexandria, Virginia. In addition to civilian clothing, the successful vendor must be able to provide full service laundry, dry cleaning, garment alteration, repair and sewing for U.S. military uniforms. In addition to civilian clothing, the successful vendor must be able to provide full service laundry, dry cleaning, garment alteration, repair and sewing for U.S. military uniforms. The base period of performance (PoP) will be five (5) years with two (2) five-year (5-year) option periods subject to mutual agreement. All questions concerning this notice should be submitted electronically via email to the Points of Contact as indicated in this announcement. All information pertaining to this announcement, including technical (or other) questions and answers will be provided to/through the Contracting Officer ONLY to ensure equal distribution of information to interested parties via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov. Interested companies must submit an expression of interest and a statement of qualifications/experience (3-page limit) to the Contracting Office no later than December 29, 2017. The DoDCC anticipates issuance of the solicitation for this requirement in late January or early February 2018.
