- Description
- The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Installation Contracting Division (PZIOA), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Stingray Optics, LLC, 310 Marlboro St 2 nd floor, Keene, NH, 03431-3840, Cage Code: 35ZD5, for an Optical System. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. The applicable NAICS code is 333314. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 500 employees. Anticipated award date is 30 November 2017. The requirement will consist of: CLIN 0001 - IR Relay Lens Assembly with 3" projected pupil, all other requirements identical to SRO PN SR1544-A01 Stingray Optics PN SR3159-A01; 1 ea CLIN 0002 - Visible Relay Lens Assembly with 3" projected pupil, all other requirements identical to SRO PN SR3155-A01 with modifications to remove the focus adjust and accommodate a fused silica bean cub Stingray Optics PN SR2092-A01; 1 ea CLIN 0003 - IR Scan Lens Assembly with 3" projected pupil, all other requirements identical to SRO PN SR1728-A01 Stingray Optics PN SR3158-A01; 1 ea CLIN 0004 - Custom Visible Scan Lens Assembly with 3" projected pupil, all other requirements identical to SRO PN SR1729-A01 Stingray Optics PN SR2122-A01; 1 ea CLIN 0005 - Testing of Optical System at vendor facility; 1 ea CLIN 0006 - Shipping; 4 ea THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 1200 pm CST on 27 November 2017 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services.
