Description
The Naval Air Systems Command, PMA-265 (Program Office for F/A-18 Aircraft), is soliciting information from industry to determine potential contractors who may have the skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required to successfully provide non-recurring engineering (NRE) efforts, integrated logistics support, publication updates, validation installation, and training in support of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 6459C2 to incorporate the Advanced Capabilities Mission Computer (ACMC) into Australia's AF/A-18F and AEA-18F aircraft. The contractor shall be able to complete the requirements within the required timeframe of the ECP. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining, from The Boeing Company, all manufacturing drawings and proprietary specification data necessary to complete the effort. Any interested party that feels it can satisfy this requirement must provide in writing a capabilities statement of no more than Two (2) pages in length that demonstrates the respondent's experience and ability to meet the requirements as specified herein including the delivery schedule requirements. All data received in response to this sources sought, marked or designated as proprietary, will be fully protected from release outside the Government. All responses shall be submitted no later than 30 November 2017. Responses shall be submitted electronically to the designated Contract Specialist, Virginia Perry-Aldridge, in Microsoft Word format or Portable Document Format (PDF) at the following email address: virginia.perry-aldri@navy.mil THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.
