- Page 1 of 1 Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration November 14, 2017 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE EVOQUA ROWPU Preventive Maintenance/Sanitization 36C25018Q0090 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) requires: a customer service agreement and factory protection plan for the maintenance of Evoqua reverse osmosis water purification units located at 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. The Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Health Care System intends to issue a sole source solicitation to BHP Energy dba GEM Energy, 10 Technology Drive, Lowell, MA 01851, requesting a customer service agreement and factory protection plan for the maintenance of the Evoqua reverse osmosis water purification units due to the exclusive nature of the specialized maintenance training, manufacturer s certification, parts, and tools. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811219 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $20M. This notice of intent to is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a quotation, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can meet the requirements of the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
