- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) COMPETITION FOR EXISTING LEASE LOCATION The VA currently occupies 8,888 net usable square feet (nusf) and 9,144 rentable square feet (rsf) of space at 4200 Fashion Square Blvd., Saginaw, MI 48603 as Administrative Space. The current lease expires on August 31, 2018. VA is conducting a competition for alternative space and will relocate if advantageous to the Government. The cost of moving, alterations, and other factors will be considered when determining whether to relocate. The space may be on more than one floor, and provide 8,888 NUSF of space and up to 9,144 RSF. On-site parking for 75 vehicles is required. A full-service lease for up to 10 years with the government having 120-day termination rights will be considered. Occupancy required by September 1, 2018. To be considered, space must be within or bordering a delineated area as follows: North: Tittabawassee Road East: Michigan Avenue South: Shattuck Road West: Center Avenue Offerors must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. Offerors who are Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) registered in www.vip.vetbiz.gov who have properties meeting the above criteria are encouraged to respond and identify themselves as a SDVOSB or VOSB. Responses to this notice will determine if the acquisition should be set-aside for SDVOSB or VOSB concerns in accordance with 38 USC Sec. 8127, FAR 19.14 and VA Acquisition Regulation 819.70. A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by the VA. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should contact Sonny S. Net usable square feet does not include such areas as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules and public corridors, and public toilets required by local code.
