Description

The National Park Service has extended the submittal date for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from companies interested in working with the U. S. National Park Service (NPS) to develop and implement business models and tools to be utilized by the NPS Commercial Services Program under the NPS Visitor Experience Improvement Authority (VEIA). The submittal date is extended from Wednesday November 15 to Wednesday, November 22 at 5:00 PM ETD. The NPS currently has well defined business models and contracting structures in place for concession contracts. In 2016 the NPS received the new VEIA authority to pilot other contracting models that utilize current best practices within the hospitality/resort, retail, and food and beverage industry. Qualified and interested companies are encouraged to review the attached Notice Inviting Expressions of Interest which provides a description of the project and complete and submit the associated EOI application/returnables schedule. Please note that this is not a request for bid which is a later step in the process and as such your responses in the application/returnables schedule are requested to be succinct.
