- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-17-G-0001 with Insitu Inc., 118 E. Columbia River Way, Bingen WA, to procure spares, training, program management, and technical data required to support currently fielded existing inventory of previously procured ScanEagle Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS's) for the Government of Kenya. The estimated total value of the contractual actions is $1,570,000 and will be funded with FMS Case KE-P-GAD A2 A2 funds. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. This synopsis is published for information purposes only. Interested parties, however, may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
