Description

MRI ROOM DOOR REPAIR SERVICES This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 334510. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to the forthcoming solicitation. The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide MRI Room Door Repair Services (single-leaf manual RF door) to include the following. Repair and/or replace MRI door hinges; door is sagging and not lining up with door strike. Quantity of four hinges. Repair and/or replace copper seals on the edge, top, and bottom of the door; some copper tabs are broken off and/or missing. The door dimensions are: 50 W x 83 H x 2.75 thick. Clean all RF door frame surfaces. Inspect all handle and latching components and tighten or adjust as needed. Inspect and align RF door security lock components and make any adjustments as needed. Provide RF testing service and identify any issues that compromises the acceptable level of performance and safety. Services shall be completed after normal business hours. The period of performance will be 12/01/2017 to 12/31/2017. The closing date and time of this sources sought notice is November 24, 2017 at 4:00 PM Central Time. This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Additionally, a response to this sources sought notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the forthcoming solicitation.
