Description

(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number 36C26118Q0022 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96. (iv) This acquisition is a full and open competition. The NAICS code is 812332 and the size standard is $38.5 million. (v) The contract line items are listed in the price schedule of the solicitation package (an Excel version is provided as attachment 3). When providing a quote, please complete the price schedule for each line item. (vi) The contractor shall provide laundry services for the Las Vegas Medical Center under the VA Southern Nevada Health Care System in accordance with the Statement of Work that is included in the solicitation package. (vii) The contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Estimated quantities are provided under attachment 1. The contractors will provide unit pricing for the ordering period. The ordering period is listed in the Price Schedule. (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Addendum to this provision is provided on page 39 of the solicitation package. Please review this addendum for quote submission instructions. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Addendum to this provision is provided on page 40 of the solicitation package. Please review this addendum for the evaluation factors that will be used to determine which vendor will be selected for the contract award. (x) The provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xi) The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. There are not any addenda to this clause. (xii) The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The applicable clauses cited within this clause are indicated in the solicitation package. (xiii) All additional contract clauses and provisions are included in the attached solicitation package. (xiv) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) do not apply to this acquisition.
