- parking and classroom instructions Map of location Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF ) Industry Day Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY& IMF) is a U.S. Navy regional industrial center that maintains, overhauls, and repairs vessels of the U.S. Navy. Its industrial operations provide U.S. naval forces with a wide range of services and resources located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. PHNSY & IMF continually compares active and upcoming requirements to current organic capacity in an effort to determine shortfalls and subsequent contracting opportunities. PHNSY & IMF has currently identified service, repair and maintenance labor shortfalls for Fiscal Year (FY) 18 to FY19. PHNSY & IMF is hosting an Industry Day to brief upcoming requirements on December 19th. We will give an overview of possible upcoming contracting requirements and discuss government-contracting procedures. Upcoming requirements: •· Skilled labor- Pipefitters, Shipfitters, Insulators, Welders, Temporary Services and Engineering •· Radiological control •· Small Craft and Barge repairs •· Submarine alterations, san tank cleaning, high pressure air compressor (HPAC) repair, and Emergency Air Breathing Lockers Replacement •· Services including IT, temporary latrine rentals and service, technical rep support, equipment calibration and repair, lab testing, technical and professional training, and many others Event Logistics: Date: Tuesday, December 19, 2017 Time: 0800-1100 Location: Federal Fire Department 650 Center Drive BLDG 284 Pearl Harbor, HI 96860-4100 RSVP: No Later Than Friday, December 15, 2017 0700 HST with the attendee name, company name, and CAGE Code. Each company is allowed a maximum of two personnel. The event is at a Federal Fire Department, parking is limited. Do not park in a reserved stall or your vehicle will be towed. Please see directions/parking and classroom attachments for more information. ***RESERVATIONS & A CAGE CODE ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND** We will turn away any walk-ins. All interested parties must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM).
