Description

This is a Sources Sought notice in accordance with FAR 10.002. This is not a solicitation. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kinds of offers will be considered in response to this Sources Sought. This is strictly for market research purposes. There will be no reimbursement for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or follow-up information requests. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) that are trained and certified to install, repair/replace components on a Gamewell-FCI Fire Alarm System currently in place. The result of this market research will assist in determining the method of procurement. Based on the information gathered, a determination shall be made by the contracting officer, if a solicitation is issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this request is 561621.   DRAFT DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to repair and/or upgrade the existing FCI 7000 Series panels, INX voice panels and program database with a new Gamewell-FCI E3 Series main FACP w/voice, combination E3/voice panels in various buildings.   RESPONSE INFORMATION: Response to this Sources Sought must be submitted to Juan.Martinez4@va.gov. Responders will receive an electronic confirmation acknowledging receipt of a response, but will not receive individualized feedback on any questions. If your organization is an SDVOSB or a VOSB that has been trained and certified by the manufacturer to provide the requirements listed above, please provide the following information:   Organization name, address, email address, website address, DUNS number and telephone number. Responses must be received by this office on or before 2:00 PM CST on November 27, 2017.
