Description

This is a Special Notice to award services Purchase Order for one year with two option years for Symphony S-Plus Preventive Maintenance Inspection Services. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the VA Network Contracting Office 2, on behalf of the Northport VA Medical Center (VAMC), intends to issue a sole source award under solicitation 36C24218Q0069 to Roche Diagnostics (9115 Hague Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46256-1025) in the amount of $80,105.04, for the above stated services, for the Northport VAMC Biomedical Engineering Service at 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768-2200. The preventive maintenance, services, and repairs, to include all associated replacement parts in this requirement, are proprietary to the OEM, Roche Diagnostics; as stated by the OEM company letter, no other vendor is authorized to provide parts or services. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
