- The Naval Air Warfare Center - Weapons Division (NAWCWD) awarded a contract to procure 1,198,330 direct labor hours for engineering support services (ESS) to provide concurrent engineering and subject matter expertise across many different weapons systems in support of Research and Engineering Department (4.0). Services to be provided include design studies and evaluations associated with research, development, production and operations; test engineering services for planning, preparing for, performing, analyzing, and documenting results; transition engineering and related support services to encompass new technologies in current or existing systems concept to Fleet support; and support services required for management of technical activities.
